ITINERARY
ITINERARY
Stellenbosch • Franschhoek • Paarl
Spend a full day photographing the beauty of South Africa’s Cape Winelands, where historic Cape Dutch architecture, rolling vineyards and dramatic mountain passes create one of the country’s most elegant landscapes.
This Cape winelands photo tour travels through Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl, with carefully chosen stops that balance scenic photography, cultural heritage and relaxed wine tasting.
Capture the historic Dorp Street, explore classic manor houses set among oak-lined avenues, and enjoy panoramic views from the Helshoogte Pass, one of the most scenic mountain roads in the Western Cape.
You’ll enjoy two wine tastings at selected estates, with ample time to photograph vineyards, cellars and architectural details, as well as the opportunity to purchase wines directly from the farms. In Franschhoek, visit the Huguenot Memorial, an important historical landmark framed by dramatic mountain backdrops.
Along quieter rural stretches, keep an eye out for ostriches, zebras and wildebeest, adding an unexpected wildlife element to your Winelands portfolio. Throughout the day, your guide assists with composition, light and storytelling — whether shooting landscapes, architecture or lifestyle details.
Optional add-on experiences (for own account):
• Safari-style game drive
• Giraffe House
• Cheetah Outreach / Cheetah Park
This Winelands photo tour is ideal for photographers, wine lovers and travellers seeking a refined yet relaxed day immersed in South Africa’s most iconic wine country.
