ITINERARY

ITINERARY

We depart Cape Town early, heading south along the False Bay coastline.

Our first stop is Muizenberg Beach, famous for its iconic row of brightly coloured bathing huts set against the ocean — a perfect opportunity to capture bold compositions, playful lines, and surfers riding the morning waves.

Continuing to Kalk Bay, we explore one of Cape Town’s most character-filled working harbours. Here, colourful fishing boats, weathered nets, resident seals, and the energy of daily harbour life provide endless photographic moments, from candid street scenes to tight wildlife details.

As we follow the curve of False Bay, we stop at scenic viewpoints offering sweeping ocean panoramas. During whale season (typically June–November), southern right whales are often visible close to shore, adding a rare wildlife element to coastal photography.

At Boulders Beach, we photograph the charming African penguins, capturing intimate portraits and environmental scenes among granite boulders and turquoise waters.

We then pass through Simon’s Town, South Africa’s historic naval village, offering opportunities for relaxed street photography and coastal storytelling.

Entering the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, the scenery becomes increasingly wild and dramatic. This protected area is home to ostriches, baboons, eland, Cape mountain zebra, and a rich variety of birdlife including cormorants and seabirds.

We explore the rugged landscapes of Cape Point, where towering cliffs plunge into the ocean, fynbos flowers add seasonal colour, and vast seascapes provide powerful wide-angle compositions. This is a highlight for dramatic landscape photography and natural storytelling.

We return via the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, widely regarded as one of the most scenic coastal roads on earth. Multiple viewpoints allow time for photographing cliffs, ocean curves, and changing light.

The day concludes at Camps Bay, where we capture a sunset seascape framed by the Twelve Apostles mountain range — a spectacular and fitting end to a day of visual discovery.

This is the basic Itinerary, which is flexible and can be adapted to suit preferences. To book this tour or request more info please full in our booking form here
