The Cape Town Sunrise Photo Tour is a private 4–5 hour photography experience designed to capture the first light of day from carefully selected vantage points overlooking the city. Sunrise times vary from as early as 5:00 AM in summer (December) to around 7:30 AM in winter (July). After photographing sunrise, the tour continues to a selection of excellent photographic locations based on light, weather, and your personal interests.
This tour offers a calm, crowd-free start to the day and is ideal for photographers seeking soft morning light, atmospheric scenes, and diverse subjects.

The tour begins at a carefully chosen sunrise viewpoint, followed by one of the options below. The exact itinerary is flexible and adjusted according to light, weather, and client preference.
Cape Town City Photo Tour
Photograph the colorful Cape Malay Quarter, Company Gardens, and the V&A Waterfront. This option includes opportunities for street photography, vibrant architecture, and light wildlife photography such as the tame squirrels in the Company Gardens. Some city walking is involved.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden Photo Tour

Township Photo Tour

Summer (Mid Nov- March):
Hot, blue skies, 14 hours of daylight. The notorious South Easter wind blows often. Busiest time of year, especially over the festive season.
Autumn (April/May/Start of June):
A beautiful time of year, calm weather, often with colourful sunsets, from mid May to early June Autumn colors kick in. Ocean Mist occurs.
Winter (June-August):
From June rains start, weather can be cold and wet. Landscape becomes colourful, waterfalls on Table Mnt. The whales return, marine and birdlife is great, good time for safari. In-between the cold fronts, weather can be beautiful.
Spring (Aug- |Mid Nov):
A great time of year, less rains than full winter. Colourful landscapes, great birdlife & wildlife and time for safari. Flowers everywhere, it’s a good time to visit but weather can be wet and cold too.
